Theory is too often confined to library bookshelves or prestigious exhibitions. The conversations of students are the cries which reverberate in the hollow mausoleum. To Be Decided* is a student-run interdisciplinary journal of theory founded at Acadia University that gives these private discussions a public pulpit. We aim to give student work life beyond the classroom.
But there is no point in simply screaming into the void to fill it with noise. It must be populated by articulate voices. TBD* aims to be a generous, welcoming and open platform for the development of graduate students and young researchers. This is a space for young scholars to create, explore, research, share, and theorize the world in which we find ourselves.
We encourage the submission of works that clearly and originally engage theory. Book reviews, creative pieces, interviews, and contemporary or topical editorials, with theoretical import are also welcome. Our issues explode a theme and then reassemble it in student work.
To Be Decided* is currently accepting submissions for its forth volume, Belonging. Its third volume, Error was published on May 1, 2018.
